Updates to Flying Field Status:

Since the last report, we have been diligent in working on finding solutions to this alleged problem of radio interference at our field. Here are the results of our research.

1.   We have found that 3 channels seem to light up on our frequency monitor occasionally for no apparent reason... they are 13, 26, and 37. They stay lit for a few seconds, then go off.

2.  If you fly on any of those frequencies, we suggest you re-crystalize your receiver and transmitter to another channel.

3.  Lately while flying on 72mhz, we have not had any reports of interference problems on other channels.

4.  Since the spread spectrum system of 2.4ghz is the latest technology that assures freedom from interference, we suggest you consider upgrading. At this time, Airtronics has a great special going on, and our local hobby shops will be pleased to help you take advantage of it.. I did, and am very happy I did.

5. Mowing participation has been a problem at the field. We hope you all can help us keep our field in the great condition we all love to fly from by participating in the mowing and maintenance.
